Every five to seven days you’ll have to release him from the tube and wash him yourself. Do not trust him to do this, or else he will masturbate. 

He’ll probably get an erection when you release him, so have some ice on hand to cool him down. Then, when he is nice and clean, lock him back up before he gets any ideas! 

It should be noted that with both types of devices he will need to sit down to urinate which should save you from any messes caused by bad aim!

Can a man really go for extended periods of time without being allowed to have an orgasm?

It will only take a couple minutes to swap one for the other, which is a small price to pay to retain your marital discretion and peace of mind.

The answer to this question is mostly yes, although there are some exceptions. If you purchase a very cheap device, he may be able to slip out of it. This is a case where it’s worth it to spend a little extra money to get the job done. 

Also, if your husband is a “grower not a shower,” you have to make sure you order a small rather than a standard sized chastity belt. Men who are not very well endowed can slip out if the device is too large for them. 

Other than that, you should be fine.
